Yallingup Cheese Company

The Yallingup Cheese Company produces a range of artisan, hand crafted cheeses. Our certified organic jersey milk is sourced from a small dairy in the Metricup district around 25km from the cheesery.

All of the milk received at the cheesery is used for cheese production that day, which helps preserve the fresh milk flavours.


Alana is the brand manager, Madame of Cheese, Winemaker and mother!! Having worked as a winemaker since 2004 and having developed a love of good cheese throughout her extensive travels, it seemed a natural progression for Alana to progress to cheese making.

She enhanced her skills with the completion of a cheese making apprenticeship in France as well as courses at the University of Wagga Wagga and the Cheese Academy in Adelaide before launching the YCC.

Passionate about championing local produce, Alana’s focus is on sourcing the best quality raw ingredients to make her cheeses.

The Region

Only a short 2 ½ hour drive South of Perth, the Margaret River region is a unique blend of rugged coastal beauty, exceptional wines and artisanal produce. The region is steeped in dairying history, with many of the original dairies still in operation throughout the cape.

The Yallingup Cheese Company is located at 1071 Wildwood Road, Yallingup, in the Yallingup region at the northern end of the cape.
